Registration is open for the February 16 Winter Clinic Training Session, which will be held at MN Icemen Training Facility (3890 Pheasant Ridge Dr NE #190, Blaine). There are three one-hour sessions to choose from: 8am, 9am, 10am. Limited spots are available due to facility size constraints, so we ask that players only register for one time slot, which will allow the maximum number of players to participate in training.
These trainings are exclusively for WBBA players in 3rd-8th grade and are facilitated by WBBA coaches and WBL High School coaches + players. Players will work on hitting, fielding and throwing. Please plan on bringing dry shoes, bat, baseball glove and water bottle.
Baseball season is right around the corner and WBBA registration is now open! We invite you to register for the league that best fits your player’s and family’s needs.

We are seeking volunteer In-House and GSRec Head Coaches for the 2025 season. WBBA baseball is made possible thanks to the generous contributions of coaches. If you are interested in coaching, please complete the In-House Coach Application. Thank you in advance for sharing your time & talents with WBBA!
Welcome to the 2025 baseball season!
My name is Blair Oklobzija and I am the President of the White Bear Baseball Association. I have been a part of the board for many years and I am extremely passionate about White Bear Baseball. I grew up playing the youth programs at the time and then for WBL High School. I was fortunate enough to play all through college as well and those baseball experiences helped me learn valuable lessons for life and sports. I hope my experience and love for the game, and the community, can create a great opportunity for all kids in our programs.
I also want to say how thankful I am to have a Board that is filled with great, smart people, who are just as passionate about making the baseball experience as best as possible for every kid in the organization. The Board goes out of their way to dedicate their time and energy to providing the best possible experience we possibly can.
With all that being said, it is my privilege to kick off a new season of White Bear Baseball and welcome back hundreds of Bears to the ball fields for another year. We’re looking forward to another busy spring/summer of baseball in 2025.
This association exists to provide baseball opportunities for every kid in our community that wants to play baseball. First and foremost, their enjoyment of the game is our top priority. We are also committed to providing players with opportunities to challenge themselves with higher competition, opportunities to improve their individual skill, and opportunities for our volunteer coaches to learn and get the most support possible. All we ask of you is to support you player, coaches, and umpires with a good and positive attitude!
For our traveling teams, we will be holding tryouts on March 22nd and 23rd. The tryout sessions on the 22nd will be held at the Blizzard Academy, with the Sunday sessions shifting to the TCO Fieldhouse. Tryout schedules will be communicated via email and posted to our website as soon as they are finalized, which will likely occur in early April. All age groups will have tryout sessions on both days.
Our In-House, Gopher State Rec(formerly North Star), and Senior League programs will ramp up in late April once registration is complete and teams can be formed.
The WBBA owes all of its success to individuals who are gracious enough to volunteer their time coaching, organizing, transporting, and cheering for our players. On behalf of the entire WBBA community, I would like to thank the parents, grandparents, relatives, and friends of the association who have so generously contributed to making this upcoming baseball season possible.
Go Bears!
Blair Oklobzija

Please fill out this form to start the process of becoming an umpire. Upon completing this survey, the WBBA Umpire Director will contact you with information on next steps.
