What's new this year
As we announced last month, there have been a few changes to how we are registering and grouping players...
Registration now happens by the month rather than week-to-week. Families can choose the session(s) that fit best with their schedule and focus on the dates that work for them. All registrations are final, helping us give the maximum number of players the opportunity to participate.
Players are grouped by age so training can be better targeted to their development level. Each age group has one designated time slot per month, with time slots rotating monthly so every age level has access to different times throughout the winter.
In January, demand was highest for the 5th/6th grade session, with open spots in 7th/8th. To balance enrollment, 6th graders may now choose from two sessions. This keeps players grouped by age while opening more spots where demand is greatest. We will continue to learn and refine this format to make it work well for all.
We are looking for local businesses to sponsor the upcoming season. These dollars are allocated towards field improvement projects, baseball equipment, registration assistance, and more!
Our sponsorship levels start out at just $100 and all sponsors will receive their logo or a custom banner on the batting cages at Babe Ruth Fields. This provides excellent visibility to hundreds of families in the community and surrounding areas. Thank you for your consideration and GO BEARS!

We're looking for umpires for the 2026 season. We’re welcoming anyone 13 and older (entering 8th grade or above in '26/'27) to umpire for our In‑House league, working with the 3rd/4th and 5th/6th divisions, which play on Mon/Wed evenings from mid‑May through late June. No all‑day commitments and plenty of room for vacations, tournaments, and everything else summer brings.
If you know someone looking for a summer job that’s fun, active and flexible, WBBA umpiring is a great fit. We’d love to welcome them to the WBBA Umpire Team — where every game starts with them.
