Registration for 2012 Season

In an effort to impact registration fees equally, with a minimal impact to the budgets of all WBBA families, registration fees for 2012 have been adjusted to include up-front costs for fund raising.  Please read the two sections below specific to Traveling and In-House leagues for impacts and options.

Traveling Registration Fees:

All traveling players are required to sell three $20 fund raiser cards.  This $60 fee will be charged to each player at registration.  Then, when players sell their cards the players/parents will keep the full $20 per card [$60 total].  So when a player has sold all three of their cards, they have covered their full increase for fund raising.

Opt-Out option – Traveling players are given the option to Opt-Out of fund raising.  If this choice is selected, registration fees will increase $40 in 2012. [Different amount than the $60 fund raiser option because this larger amount includes fees that must be paid to vendor]  This option results in the same fees to WBBA, the option is to players/parents whether they want to Opt-In or Opt-Out of fund raising.

Note: after selling first three fund raiser cards, players can sell additional cards and will receive $5 for each card sold, same as in prior years.

In-House Registration Fees:

All In-House players are required to participate in fund raising [no Opt-Out option], but there is a smaller fund raising commitment, determined by age.

7-8 Registration Fees:

All 7-8 year old players will pay $10 in additional fees when they register and will receive two Polar Chev raffle tickets.  Then, when players sell their raffle tickets the players/parents will keep the full $5 per ticket [$10 total].  So when a player has sold both of their raffle tickets, they have covered their full increase for fund raising.

9-12 Registration Fees:

All 9-12 year old players will pay $25 in additional fees when they register and will receive five Polar Chev raffle tickets.  Then, when players sell their raffle tickets the players/parents will keep the full $5 per ticket [$25 total].  So when a player has sold their five raffle tickets, they have covered their full increase for fund raising.

Note: in addition to Polar Chev raffle tickets, In-House players can also sell fund raiser cards and will receive $5 for each card sold, same as in prior years.
